E-Session | Chicago | Loop – Millennium Park

We really wanted to capture the city as much as the couple. The e-session started in the west loop near the Pabst Photo studio and then moved east toward Millennium Park. We shot around the Frank Ghery band shell and Crown Fountain where digital faces spit water throughout the summer. We also took advantage of the beautiful flowers and landscaping of the Lurie Garden. We opted not to fight the crowds around ‘The Bean’ (Cloud Gate) and we ultimately finished our shoot in the center of Michigan Avenue – the city’s most iconic street. Generally speaking, the images get increasingly dramatic as the sun goes down and the city shows its lights and nightly character. I really love the the grainy black and white as darkness sets and the silhouettes in front of Crown Fountain are some of my favorite shots.
