Jamie & Josh of Pabst Photography are GREAT!!! They take amazing pictures, really capture the moment and are wonderful to work with. We hired them – very last minute I might add – to shoot our second wedding reception in Chicago. They were professional, rolled with the evening and were always there when I needed them. And the pictures turned out GREAT!! So many of my family and friends commented on how much they loved them and I have to say they give my actual wedding day photos a run for their money! I would highly recommend them…and most importantly – they are good people and fun to have with you for the evening!

I can’t say enough good things about Pabst Photo. Back story: My husband and I had a destination wedding in July 2013 followed by an at-home reception in August. Since we had two events to pay for, we were working with a relatively tight budget for the August reception. At one point, after receiving astronomical quotes from other Chicago-area photographers, we considered skipping photography altogether. And then I discovered Pabst Photo. Aside from being affordable, Pabst Photo was: professional, responsive, friendly, and easy-to-work with during the planning process. All of the aforementioned is nice, but clearly the most important thing is the finished product – the photos. And they were OUTSTANDING. Josh and Jamie captured the big moments, the little details, and the overall “feel” of our reception perfectly. The turnaround was extremely quick. What more could ask for?

Working with Josh and Jamie of Pabst Photo was an absolute pleasure! They were extremely flexible with their schedule when we had to delay our shoot due to unforeseen circumstances. Once we were finally able to take the photos they were receptive to taking pictures in our style and making sure we got the most out of our shoot. They didn’t charge by the hour, or location, or outfit change like many other photographers tend to do, so we were able to relax and enjoy the experience. Then, Josh turned the edited high-res image files over in record time because he knew I was in a time crunch to get some Save the Dates made – so considerate! We couldn’t be happier with the end product and continue to receive new compliments on how great the pictures are (and we completely agree!).
